Update
Added 2021-03-02 03:10:53 +0000 UTCWell, it's the first of the month so lets get into what's happening with the game and ultimately where the project is headed. First and foremost, no there's no build today but no, you're not waiting for another month. Some of our team members, including myself, live in Texas and if anybody's been paying attention to the news, we got record winters. That means for extended periods of time people were without power and couldn't work. That's of course topping off the fact that the cold was quite sapping of one's energy. Regardless, we're going to show you what we do have planned to release on the 7th to 8th and hopes to give you all a glimpse of the wonderful work that we have in store.
First and foremost, we have more content coming to our repeatables. These are coming in the form of the sleeping scene and the blacksmith scene

. Of course paired with this is the winning vote for our competition held last month for the "nun mini-game".

Along with that comes a brand new main menu

. We're also going to be adding a costume selection for the hero so you could choose if he has a sword or doesn't have a sword after a certain part in the quest. We are going to be reducing the size of the game with blanket better coding. This is also paired with a very very long breakdown of what we're going to be doing long term with the game so you have a permanent understanding of what the beginning and the end is for the entire game. It won't cover all the things - we gotta have a few surprises! But it should give you a good idea of how long the game is going to be.
The biggest and most prevalent thing is that this is our first game and these two years of development hasn't just been us sitting around not paying attention. There's been a lot of backend in terms of the direction the game should be headed. We're going to finish this one. I personally find immense value in completing a project to the best of your abilities and no you're not going to know everything is perfect first time around. The more we backtrack means the less content you, our generous supporters, get which is what you're here for. I hope to see you guys in a few days if not a week, giving more news on where we're at in terms of the project and how far we are stretching to get it done this year. I look forward to hearing from everybody. For those who are sticking around with us we appreciate you immensely and if this thing ever reaches heights beyond our comprehension, we will not forget you.
