With this being the first of the month I bring you exciting news for the game and its development. 2020 is over and I say with great certainty that we are moving forward even better than I could have imagined. With this post my objective is to give you some insight on the things planned and in production. The next build, coming later this month, will feel like a double build and be huge in terms of the increased quality and functionality.
With that said, it brings me great joy to introduce our newest team member code name: Random
New team member:
Being our new head coder, Random will not just add to the game in his own and interesting way but bring new technical skills surrounding the game as well. Freeing me up to interacting with the community more and create a chance to be more open with you guys on the current state of the project. I’ll be able to add fun and exciting things to the community by competitions to affect what happens in the game. We are extraordinarily lucky and blessed to have him.
Incoming stuff:
Now let's get into the big things that are going to become. Work was done to the game through rework and expansion. It was only within the last four days that we've introduced our wonderful new team member to the group and he has been extraordinarily hard at work. I now see after watching his work that I am not a great coder yet, and that we definitely needed somebody professional to do it. On top of fixing any other remaining bugs that I may have missed he has also recreated:
a brand new map,
added wonderful animations to the overworld and
Smoothed out the game's feel.
So where is This month's BUILD?
With all these additions changes and reworks we need to pack this months new build into the build of next month. So the next build is set to release March 1st, with new content as well as these complete over hauls.
I'm excited about this coming build because it's going to feel so much better on your guys' end and its also going to speed up production significantly. The completion of the game just got that much closer to being done.
