Another small status update
Added 2021-06-17 07:56:30 +0000 UTCSo I got my "new PC" and it's up and running, and it's running fast :D
Here's a picture I made while assembling it:
I can tell you, this thing is fast! No competition to how it was before. I'm still missing a few parts to fully utitlize it, but it's usuable and I've made some renders already:
This render took ~15 minutes, the same scene/environment took over half an hour before and I still have yet to connect my old grafics card, so there is still even more room for improvment. here.
So now I'll start rendering all the animations that I didn't render yet because they simply took too long ^^"
It'll still take a lot of time to render them, but at least it's reasonable now.
The scene above is from day 11 by the way. Day 10 is still not fully done, it's mostly missing the animations, but I wanted to finish what I can while waiting for the new hardware.
Let's hope that everything wents smooth from now on and that I won't need to buy any new hardware for a while. The last two years have been a pain in that regard, I had to buy 4 new grafics cards, 3 CPU's, 3 MB's, etc...
Anyway...
I'll go back working on the update, stay safe everyone and seeya soon!
