Hey guys!

I hope you're all well. I don't know where the last month went. I was on holiday in Ireland at the start of the month and also ill and then the rest blurs into one. Work is busy as ever but I feel like I'm striking a bit better work-life balance recently.

With that being said, there's still not loads of progress on the video. I'm slowly but surely editing it together (and please don't expect anything fancy, it's mostly a compilation of photos and video footage). But I've been balancing this with reading Umineko to prepare for the video after. I re-read Episode 1 and half of Episode 2 years ago so picked it up from there. I finished Episode 2 and am almost done with the Episode 2 manga now as well (which I'm reading for the first time). After this, I think I'm going to switch to just re-reading the VN and then reading the manga after. I'm really enjoying it!

Other than all this, I saw one film in April on the recommendation of my friend. It was the 2023 Italian film There's Still Tomorrow. It's a (black) comedy drama set in 1940s post-war Rome following a housewife with a really bleak life. I don't want to say more than that -- it was a really interesting watch. I didn't hit me as hard as other people I know, but is worth seeing.

I'm also loving Sound! Euphonium Season 3 and the new season of the Serial podcast as well, but more on those when they're done!
