Hi everyone!!

I'm finally back with another video poll! As discussed in the updates post I just shared, I might make a vlog of my Japan trip before either of these, but will be working on the winner from this poll in parallel to that. It's just two simple options this time: a video on Chainsaw Man or Umineko.

I was a little late to the party but I finally read all of Chainsaw Man ahead of the anime airing last year after being persuaded by a friend. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's become one of my favourite anime or manga series and I have tons to say about it. This would likely be a more holistic video rather than one focused wholly on one character or theme, but I'm particularly interested to talk about Denji's arc over the course of Part 1 and some of the topics dealt with here, as well as the overall mood and philosophies of the series (think discussion of loneliness, intimacy, grief, trauma etc. as they impact all the characters. You know, the usual).

I've been wanting to make a Chainsaw Man video badly for a while now, but that also goes for videos on Umineko! There will definitely be more than one of these and I have some ideas, but I intend (and have begun) to re-read the entire thing, take notes on everything that interests me, and then decide which video to make first, so the exact topic will be revealed down the line.

The Chainsaw Man video won't be a short one, but seeing as I have to re-read all of Umineko before I even begin work on that video should it be chosen, it is likely to take substantially longer. Let this information influence your choice as it will.

Both (sets of) videos will be made eventually regardless of which one wins. The poll will close three days from now.
