And born blue was a song that they had a verse of and was gonna put it on happier but ran out of time and already had 16 songs so just put it away. Also have you heard Billie on the Labrimth track I never felt so alone? If not i think you would love it…a react to that would be amazing to hear your thoughts! Also have you checked out Aurora? If not i think you would find her 2015 nobel peace prize concert performance amazing of Runaway ( wrote it when she was 11, and Murder Song. She wrote when she was 18. Age 19 at the performance. The reason I mention her is Billie said in an interview that when she was 12 she found aurora’s music video of Runaway and thats what made her think wow, this is what I want to do. Aurora isnt much older than Billie and i just find that so fascinating. Pls check her out and react!

2024-07-04 15:18:47 +0000 UTCthat beginning of Blue is from this old unreleased song of hers called true blue and man, hearing that after so long was soooo cool, specially with how her voice has matured. I went to her nyc streaming party and you could her how excited everyone was when the beat started. It seems it’s a mix with another discarded track called born blue. She just put all the blues there lol there’s a bit that sounds like blue jeans by Lana. And it does transition from bittersuite to blue. Ugh such an amazing album! Billie and Finneas are insanely good. Actual geniuses

2024-05-17 23:51:46 +0000 UTCMy interpretation of wildflower is that billie got really close to a girl when she broke up with her boyfriend and then billie started dating the girl’s ex but felt guilty about it lol chihiro is the character on spirited way, there’s a lot in the song that reminds me of the movie, it’s so good! The movie is great too. And the diner seems to be from the pov of one of her stalkers (she’s had way too many over the years and I think one actually broke into her house). And you can actually call the number at the end and it’s a recorded message from her saying she can’t hear you and then you get a text saying “hi, it’s billie, call me”, so cool! I’ve listened to this album an unhealthy amount of times considering it’s been out less than 24hrs lol
