You got a good point here. The video is now live and it's performing very bad. I'll leave it online for some days and then make it private again. I think the compilation is something for the end when the car is completely finished. But then definitely make it a lot shorter. Thanks for the feedback.

I don’t think a compilation belongs there but other than suggesting you put it on the 2nd channel I don’t care either way. I won’t watch it but maybe everyone else will. I would just rewatch the original videos (as I have several times).

Some people like to use them in the background or even as going to sleep, as well as catch up. Even finds new viewers! But for me, I personally dont need a part to be finished to enjoy the video. If anything, the vlogs can be a bit of a very long tease never actually getting to see the important parts..and then waiting an extremely long time for the actual video to release or even a directors cut. (Understandbly so, your meticulous work takes time and is well worth the wait, just speaking on how it seems watching the vlogs now as a member). If it were me, I would release these vlogs, and every few weeks just edit and upload what I have completed. Regardless if theres a major conclusion or new start or not. Could always save the completed sections for how you order the compilation videos. But that way the folks keeping up with the vlogs arent teased as long for the actual best parts of the videos? Maybe others don't agree..and I know the huge amount of work this all must take. But it seems like if you are editing a ton for other things already, if it were me those new advancements would be the priority for the viewer, over repurposed, simply because certain points of the project are at a whatever point. Ya know? Just my two cents since you asked! I understand narratively why you're doing it this way.. but I think folks are always just hungry for your content over whether or not its a concise narrative format. I can see why you dont include them just unedited for the vlogs, as it takes away incentive for the patreon members to watch the finished videos. But I for one would still watch both and most folks watching the videos likely arent patreon members so theres long gaps of time for them. This format makes sense for small projects, but imho makes more sense to just do parts no matter what point for such a long spanding project. Just trying to think about it from all angles since you asked. Would never suggest these things otherwise! Maybe a happy medium would be including the unedited shots in the vlog sometimes but im sure that could be a nightmare editing wise and theres reasons as to why you've done everything this way. Haha
