Early peek at Staceys design as a Wendigo 👀

Spoiler Warning:
I've been planning for a long time that Stacey is actually a wendigo. In her backstory, she and her friend Maddy went missing years ago while hiking in the mountains. Maddy injured her leg, and the wound became infected and eventually killed her. Wanting at least Stacey to survive, Maddy told her it was okay to eat parts of her. Maddy died with a smile on her face—a smile that burned itself into Stacey’s memory forever.

When Stacey truly saw no other way to survive, she accepted her friend’s offer...

I’ve struggled for a long time with Stacey’s design as a wendigo—ranging from creepy to something more like a Venom symbiote. But this version of her, a sweet deer lady with sharp teeth and Stacey’s crazed expression, is the one I like best.

To me, it reflects the wrath of nature, but also the contrast: deer are normally shy, harmless prey animals—and now this deer eats people. That duality really suits Stacey’s entire character.
