HEY EVERYONE! I'm assuming you've seen (or will eventually see) the call-out post on Twitter pointing out that Rinako was based off of a real japanese kid.

Back when I designed her, I looked at the picture and made the absolutely IMBECILIC decision of basing her clothes and hair off of her. For so long I deluded myself thinking "oh it's not really her so it's fine!".

Yes, she might not "be" the real person, but the similarities are striking, and seeing it from another perspective ...
