Projects update

So there's been no new projects for a little while but that will all change soon as I have been taking over Miss K's living room. And i now have a second printer for at home WOOHOO! Spent most evenings this week building her. Will probably take a little while to get her dialed in but it means I can now do longer prints and not worry about the boss asking what I'm making at work :p The works machine is currently busy at the moment too making bits for a CNC machine. No idea where it's gonna go ...

It worked!!!

Shapeways did good!! This is the silver locking day collar I designed for K finally assembled. I didn't expect everything to fit as well as it did. K hasn't seen it yet. Will hopefully get some pictures of her showing it off later (although the chain length may have to be adjusted)

The reason theres been no new projects for a while

Well up to now everything I've made has either been done in work (which isn't ideal) or sat in a tiny bedroom in bed. So it gives me great pleasure to show you guys my new little working space!! Probably doesn't look like much to most but for me to have a dedicated little space to make stuff is massive!! Now everything's moved in and set up I can get creating properly again. As always thanks to all you guys and gals for the continued support. I hope I can keep earning it moving forwards :)

Shapeways

Well I buckled and decided to give shapeways a test drive. Ordered the model of the heart day collar to be made. Hoping it comes out ok as I'm quite excited to see what it looks like on :)

where are the tutorials??

finding it hard to find the right time to film some tutorials currently. I live with vanilla people so it's very hard to film them at home because they all seem to be agoraphobes and never bloody go out!

If I keep struggling to find an opportunity to do them then me and K will scrape some money together and book a hotel room for the night and film a few in one go.

Getting some work done

Trying to get this bad boy up and running today (it's about damned time!!!) Also trying to sneak my printer back into work later so I can get printing on new projects. Until I can find a cheap workshop somewhere it's the only place I can print. So fingers crossed will be able to churn out a few more bits over the next few weeks. As always thanks for your support. Hey, first of all I want to thank each one of you for the support. That money has already made a difference allowing me to build some of my most recent projects. It's amazing how expensive these projects get and without you guys I would be able to do a fraction of what I am! Onto the next

With one project nearing completion it's time to start thinking about the next.

Mk2 clamps should be fully soldered later :)

Redoing the clamps with the correct resistors this time. Hopefully should be a lot brighter than my first attempt!! Fingers crossed.

Managed to get another little project printed today

Whilst biding time waiting to do a final test fit of the clamps I managed to get another project printed today. Seeing as it's the last day of work for me today until the new year hopefully can squeeze in some time to get the electronics for this done and get my patreons some pictures of the clamps during the test fit :)

Hopefully this is the final version for now. If all goes to plan can start assembling this tonight :)

And the printer is away

Will hopefully have one half printed today. This print has about 4 hours left. Enough for me to get a proof of concept running. If all goes to plan should get the rest printed Monday/Tuesday and have something to show by the weekend :)
