Use Yandex Disk 3, NOT 4, for the time being!

Hello! Thanks to someone here, in our beloved community, I found out Yandex Disk has a new app that's far inferior and NOT working properly for our needs.

So, I updated our tutorial to reflect that and remind you to use the previous version 3, instead.

Everything else continues to work normally and I will try another computer with Yandex Disk 4 to see if I figure out a way to make it work for us, but it's not possible right now (plus, it has less options, so I am unsure if it will...

Saving Problems with Sims 4 and Previous Iterations...

Hi! Just reminding everybody you should use Save As... from time to time (my video above is old and for Sims 3 but the concept is valid for any version of the game, or even other games).

It seems there's really bad issues with Sims 4 corrupting saves after "For Rent" EP.

Until they figure out, this is the only way to roll back, safely, to previous saves that might have been still good.

No Ads at Launch Mod

Hi! Just letting you know I added the mod above to our file server, because those pop ups we see when opening the game are annoying and some of you might want to get rid of them.

I only tested it quickly and it seems to work.

The Sims 4 (and 3) Tutorial - Save As... - Protect Yourself Against Corrupted Files!

As you probably know I always tell everybody to backup and to use "Save As" instead of regular Save as much as possible!

The latest issues with The Sims 4 For Rent are only one of many others we had in the past.

I had a tutorial for Sims 3 and, today, I put together a quick step by step guide on my site showing how it's done on Sims 4, just in case anybody doesn't know it yet.

💾 Save As... is your friend! 💾

Remember this very old tutorial of mine? And the observations I make every now an then?

Well, The Sims 4, at the current version from EA, is corrupting a few saves due to a bug still to be fixed.

If you still follow my advice, from time to time, you have at least a (not so) few saves to roll back to, if the worst happens.

Backup is always something you should do periodically, as usual. 😇

It is good advice not only for Sims but any other game that supports "saving as...
