With Pure 3.0, I started testing it on Linux systems along with CSP release and development builds. I did a lot of tests and benchmarks and with the newest CSP 0.3p110 AC + CSP is running great in my preferred Linux distros (Bazzite 42 (KDE) and CachyOS (KDE)). At the moment I'm working on an easy-to-use install tutorial video, which shows how you install Bazzite or CachyOS and how you must install AC, Content Manager, CSP and Pure.
After a dozen test installs I achieved a 100% working seq...

Pure 2.35 will feature a new installer since for the past few months there have been issues when installing Pure.
In case Microsoft Defender and the Smart Screen feature are being used it is most likely that some files are not correctly unpacked if Windows Explorer is used for extraction.
For that reason I decided to upgrade to a self-extracting archive. The only obstacle is that the executable requires manual verification in case Smart Screen is active.

After many attempts to transform Pure to support “Linear Color Space” (LCS), I came to the conclusion that Pure utilizes too many workaround strategies to look great in “Gamma Color Space” (Gamma). Unfortunately, those workarounds turned out to be incompatible with LCS shaders. So I had no choice but to take drastic measures in order to ensure long term compatibility with LCS.

The new CSP version has a new feature called Linear Color Space (LCS). It will solve issues with AC rendering, BUT therefore the core shaders were reinvented. CSP now has 2 shader sets, the old shaders like CSP 0.2 - 0.2.3p1 and new shaders which support LCS.
The shaders are switched by activating/deactivating LCS in weatherFX settings. So actually it should be possible to run Pure with CSP 0.2.3p211 without problems...Pure 0.270 - new features
Pure will get a new shader - "ground fog".

Problems with CSP 0.1.80p428 ?
- If you got problems with the new CSP 0.1.80preview428 and Pure, please just do a reinstall of Pure.
- If you see red and green parts of the track with rain. Please deactivate dynamic shadows in the LightingFX settings for now. This will be fixed in a new version of CSP

This will give you a much better support. On Discord, problems can be sovled much faster. We added a Patreon category there. Please use it, if you report bugs or need help with a problem.
Actually Patreon joins you automatically to the Sol/Pure Discord, if you already activate the Discord app integration.
