Season III recap & Winter Cleaning update.

Some time had passed, and I've got some textual symbols to share.

I tried to finish EC III-XIV and did not succeed. I'll probably submit the story part here eventually, and that will be the end of it. After I admitted defeat, the challenge of deciding on a new format arose, and that took some time as well, as I realized during season III that one size does not, in fact, fit all.

Instead of just being busy, last month for me was pure insanity plagued by stress, non-festive weather and constant respiratory infections. It wasn't all bad, just wish it would be easier on my own me.

I specifically set myself up to not be late with Season III finale and am going to be late anyway. It is one session away, but there is no telling yet when it will happen, unless "soon" counts as a time frame.

Season III premiere on DA.

The final episode is about 60% ready, but I've decided against more delays. There's really been enough of those already. House of Marble will be up there in a couple hours.

Next post with the final episode will also have my summary of the season and some more clues on moving forward. I wish I could arrange a more organized (forget timely) nature of this release, but it is what it is.

EC III-XIII: New Phase

I'm not sure if one can tell that active drawing occurred much, much later than active writing, after a significant forced hiatus.

As I've mentioned previously, I'll be trying to stick with December 12th as the DeviantArt release date for Season III, with final episode premiering here a few days prior, that's the current plan.

Some good news first: despite me being madly busy at my job, EC III-XIII has finished production and only requires post-production. I should be able to publish it tomorrow or, worst case scenario, the day after tomorrow. Also, because I've been moderately good at my job, I've scheduled a full update of my setup for a couple months away, including getting a new tablet and possibly new drawing software.

I considered making a second frame for this one, but there was never enough space, nor was it a part of the initial deal. So I went for the simpler way, if you can believe it.

Theme for the next episode has been determined for a while, same for the closing one of the season. I would like to do some more between them, but we will have to see if that is what happens.

About that moving forward thing. The session for making of most of III-XI will happen within this month. Can the entire thing come out of that? It's possible. You know me. I say "should not take that long" and then it immediately takes exactly that long.

I guess I have to say something about the EC III-X episode progress and my plans in general. I had a recent setback in the form of a cold, the type that fills your brain with white noise. Incidentally, filling the brain with white noise is also a theme in the episode.

I am yet to draw the final of the three frames, but it should not take all that long. I've already decided the next episode to be single-frame, simple and effective. So, at least these two episodes for this month.

Ambition.

The first thing I've got to say is one you may have heard before. I appreciate all of your support, and there isn't a day when I forget about giving back. Just when I think I can't get busier these days, I do anyway, and this time round, I'm remarkably, unprecedentedly empty-handed.

I'll be making it up to you guys next month. I know better than to quantify my goals, but I'm hoping for a stark contrast content-wise between May and April.
