I have a fun announcement today! And some questions for you.
I'm finally getting a storefront set up where I can sell you my old costumes, garments, etc. - as well as some of the things I've made (tiki shirts, various crafted items, etc). And some of my cool nerd collectibles that I don't have room for anymore (but that I love a lot and don't want to just donate to charity where they may get trashed by someone who doesn't appreciate their provenance).

Looks like it's time for an update!
A little bit about me... I'm 41, I live in Michigan and Florida, and I sew for a living. I love to make costumes especially corsets and historical gowns (I've been sewing since about 1997). Ive also taught sewing in the past (although I dont have any students at present). Some of you are already acquainted with my 2015 Challenger ... my beautiful baby is in good shape overall but she sometimes needs repairs! Today I had to pull out the drivers side headlight so I could find the part number to order a replacement. I love driving but I'm not the best mechanic... fortunately this task isn't too difficult. I'm so grateful that I live in the internet age where I can just order the parts!!

Today I had to pull out the drivers side headlight so I could find the part number to order a replacement. I love driving but I'm not the best mechanic... fortunately this task isn't too difficult. Spent most of today getting the yard back under control now that I'm back in Florida for the winter! My hibiscus are doing great but I tore out some of the other plants.
I love Michigan in summer but once it gets cold im glad to head south again! Also, I have SIX new swimsuits to photograph for you guys sooo. Definitely time to be back in the warm!

It was... pretty cold in the woods actually. But totally worth it! I think we may switch to some corset photos for the next set, but it's been so much fun to edit these I had to give you more of them.
