I thought I'd take a break before settling into trying out a comic for patreon, but then...

I've been in a phase with *hair*. I got curious and used Procreate's stroke tracking feature.
Joshua's hair in the bottom right vignette took 7,773 strokes from the total 48,424. If I just throw that number, all the hair might account for about 25% of the piece's total lines. It wouldn't shock me. I'm trying to relearn hair rendering like this, and I think it still needs a lot of refining.
I'd be better served by putting some blacks in place first and focusing the detail where it counts, not burying a bunch of it in places that just end up distracting.

The crop feels cleaner, but Joshua's feet here were too good to let die on the canvas. Exclusive Patreon Feet Pics.
