A commission for an anonymous client who wanted some Shadowzel Oviposition. 

Lae'zel is such a fun challenge to tackle, and if you *also* happen to be drawing her, don't be too harsh on yourself in evaluating her features until you get her eyeblack and facial markings on there because hooooo boy those really make or break her. I love that she went with so many lush purples and blues, it wasn't what I expected which means it's always the most exciting to see. September Commission Roundup

For the past two weeks I've been getting these out of my queue - I'm very tired and a little burned out. Mistake me not, these were all so wonderful to have the privilege to work on. I'll never stop being dumbfounded that people not only want but *trust* me to draw their visions. It's humbling every time. This crop was a really lovely variety. Now that they're done though, I'm going to take some time to be a slug, draw for myself, and play some video games so my brain can recover. 

On September and Sustainability

Hello all! I hope you've all been well, staying safe and fed. I wanted to pop in to talk a little bit about plans for the months going forward.

Creativity and energy, for me, both comes in cycles, and there are some months where those cycles move asynchronously. Alongside that, I have obligations in the form of contract work and commissions (not to mention all the other life things!).

A recent commission for Moki_Arts - I'm in a bit of a phase of loving hair rendering. When I was much younger, rendering out hair to this level of detail was a staple for me, despite how long it often took me.
