Alex decided to test my heart this weekend by getting a fever and scaring the living daylights out of me Saturday night. He was breathing rapidly, inactive, had weepy eyes, hot to the touch and acting as though he might just fade away. He also wouldn't fully retract his 3rd eye lids. Someone doesn't feel good after his most recent vaccination shot. Poor guy is tired and sore. But he's eating, he's drinking and his poops are solid. SULFUR DIP NIGHT! Alex has a bad case of ringworm. Luckily, it causes him no discomfort. Unluckily, the best treatment is a dip in a sulfur cocktail that kills the fungus that causes the ringworm. It makes this sad little alien an even sadder looking little alien.

Alex is my 4th tuxedo kitten foster. My first three were all from the same litter named Gabbie, Daken & Laura. My favorite part of tuxedos is how their coloring is so similar to each other but also exceptionally unique. Like Gabbie's "daimond" nose or Daken's white mittens, you always find a way to tell them apart. This is still the largest litter I have taken so far and I still miss them a lot.
