Hi, I have been feeling a bit bored with my mods, so have struggled a bit with working on them lately. This is why I have not posted any news on a while. I thought I was on my way back working worth them, but I apparently wasn't.
Instead I was enjoying building some houses and playing the game, and later have some health issues.
Last weekend I was having modding days again, but started with a new mod, just to see if it was something I could do. It is about being able to watering indoor plants. But I ran on to some animation issues, when having plants on wall or on the ceiling. I added a way to turn the watering on and off for selected plants, to be able to only need to water the plants Sims can actually route to, and also so you can select if you wanna water with a watering can och with a spraying bottle, some plants may not make sense to water with a can.
But the animation issue comes when Sims should be spraying plants placed high up on wall or on ceilings. When spraying on ceiling plants they will teleport to the other side of the plant and spray it from there, and then teleport back again, not a very big issue. And when spraying on plants high up on a wall, they will teleport in to the wall and spray from there before teleporting back again, this is a bit more odd than the other one. I was trying to fix this and also wasn't able to get help with out from other modders and I have no idea how to solve it.
It can be worked arround by disabling watering for the plants with issues like this. If one select watering with can for these plants out won't make any sense, since they water only on "the floor" with current animation.
So I wonder what you think about this with my poll here.
I am not sure when this will be done, and what it will exactly contain. What I don't believe it will contain though, is having the plants visually die from drying out or being overwatered, but some kind of indication of bad plants, except for only tooltip, I hope I can get in.
About the other mods. I am not sure when I will work on them, but I will try to check out that they are not outdated because of patches.
