Fixated on the praying mantis
A couple weeks ago, my wife caught a praying mantis in our back yard and she's been bringing her in to our classroom. Her second graders love the praying mantis (it's become a class pet) and she recently laid an egg, which they they think is really cool. My wife brings her home every night and our cats recently discovered the terrarium.
They're fascinated by the praying mantis and I'm pretty sure they both want to turn her into a snack.
